BLEACH LONDON's - BRUISED VIOLET REVIEW

For those of you who don't know (which is most likely all of you) I am blonde, bottle dyed of course and I wanted to spice things up because I was getting bored of the whole bleach blonde noodle look..

So I decided I wanted to try out a dip-dye. I took my time on deciding what colour and what brand to use. I done all I could to stay away from the Schwaszkof brand because the last time I used that brand.. Well lets just say it didn't go too well. Eventually I settled on BLEACH LONDON's BRUISED VIOLET. All I can say is wow!

At first I was quite hesitant about using it, although it does wash out within 2 - 10 washes, but then I was just like what the hell it's only wash out! I've just got to say that I am highly impressed with this product. The price, the amount in the bottle and the results are just fabulous. (I will insert before & after pictures below)
At first glance you'd think 'that price for that tiny bottle?' but I can honestly say that it is worth the money as I practically done half my head, bare in mind my hair is just past my shoulders, and I didn't even use 1/4 of the bottle. So I personally think €6.49 for 150mls is totally worth it.

As I mentioned at the beginning that I am blonde by bottle dye and I have been for the guts of 2 years. So that means bleaching my hair every 2 - 3 months and it is safe to say that my hair is practically lifeless.. But this BLEACH LONDON dye has actually improved the ends of my hair. They were just dead straw like strands but now I can see and feel a difference in the ends.

I am currently on my 4th hair wash since using this dye and the colour is still extremely vibrant, so I am immensely happy. Since using this I have also gotten an endless amount of comments on the colour of my hair. *fistpump*

But one thing that I will say is be careful of the amount of conditioner you use when washing your hair if you want this colour to last as it will result in the colour brightening quicker.

Overall I would give BLEACH LONDON's BRUISED VIOLET a solid 9 out of 10 for the simple fact that it isn't permanent but I am going to buy more colours from this brand and try them out too.

  1. Hi, as its been a while since you posted this can you tell me what your hair was like after it washed out? Some people have said it left a green tinge to their hair so i'm scared to try it :S x

  2. Hey, apologies for the super late reply. As time went on I did see the purple beginning to fade and yes eventually it left a teal colour in my hair and it stayed that way, although I did put that down to my hair being bleached and super blonde in the first place so of course it wasn't going to come out super easily. Although it did end up turning to a vibrant teal colour it was so nice and I got so many compliments on it. The teal colour did not fade so again I put that down to the amount of peroxide that is in my hair, but all in all I would still recommend this product because I loved the results whether it was purple or teal :) I hope I helped x
